2012 Year in Review
In 2012, Network808 experienced an intense year of growth and new developments driven by social media and technology. Through social media channels and our contact database, Network808 engaged with 14,000+ active participants
LinkedIn Group – Network808 in Hawaii: 167% growth; 818 participants to 2190 participants
LinkedIn profile – 6400 connections
Facebook – Network808 Events page: 1008 likes
Twitter: 417 followers
In addition, Network808 Events in Hawaii hosted a total of 500 networkers at monthly events on the Island of Oahu. Network808 hosted global participants from Switzerland, Philippines, Pennsylvania, San Diego, Las Vegas and Canada. Network808 was the “First in Hawaii” to engage Poken technology: a networking education tool, digital business card, and contact management system.
Our Educational component, “Leadership Everyday, Mastering your Networking” 6-series covered the following business areas:
- Communicating your Value Proposition to your Customers and Increase your Exposure with Technology & Social Media
- Effective Followup – How to Increase your Sales Potential

Network808 Outreach in Hawaii to Locks of Love = donated 12 ponytails; Leukemia and Lymphoma Society = raised $850; and Special Olympics Hawaii = raised $3000
